Outdoor Safety Training delivers nationally accredited training courses to enable professionals and voluntary leaders to:

  • build skills for working with groups safely and effectively in outdoor environments
  • gain national accreditation in water safety, outdoor sports and outdoor safety management
  • be able to read, understand and write effective risk assessments for operating in outdoor environments
  • ensure practice in water rescues to nationally recognised standards
  • allow employers to fulfil statutory requirements with regard to safeguarding employees working in outdoor environments

Outdoor Safety Training currently delivers:

  • Royal Life Saving Society National Water Safety Management Programme
  • British Canoeing Foundation Safety and Rescue Training
  • Archery GB Instructor Award
  • Climbing and High Ropes training
  • 8 hour Outdoor First Aid
  • Safety Awareness training
  • Leading Bushcraft with Young People level 1
  • Leading Bushcraft with Young People level 2
  • Introduction to Forest Schools
